This collection gathers ALL THE HIT VERSIONS of ALL hit hits, for the first time anywhere. For anyone who loves Satchmo, there can be no greater gift than this set. Suggested Donation: $50

For those who love the New Wave sounds of the Eighties, this is a real treasure! Try to find this in any library or even world-wide on the internet, and you'll see that we're the ones who have it. Suggested Donation: $10

For those who missed it, here it is again, and this time on CD! Due to the high number of pops, clicks and ticks on the original vinyl LP, this disc did not receive noise reduction as doing so would have slightly attenuated the upper frequencies. But, this is the place to hear the original classic version of "Talkin' John Birch Paranoid Blues." Suggested Donation: $25

Note: One of this rock group's biggest hits was Saved By Zero, but it was first pre-released to radio stations in an extended play version that was subsequently edited down for album release. This digital transfer from a pristine vinyl record is the original EP version that only radio stations had access to. This is NOT the live, long version commercially available on their misleading "Extended Versions" CD, which is actually not a studio recording, but a "Live" version! Side 2 contained "Outside" which is already commercially available, so not included here. Suggested Donation: $20

Note: We used "The Complete Recordings" factory CD front jewel case label for our CD, because it was most appropriate: The factory disc that came inside the CD with this label actually contained only their recordings while they were on the Beltone label, completely ignoring their biggest hit from the UA label, the unforgettable, "I’m A Happy Man," (presented here in stereo), along with other UA gems. This single disc is the only place where you can truly get ALL their hits from Beltone AND United Artists, without having to fumble through a multitude of other compilations. Suggested Donation: $25

We searched the world for the artist but there's no record of this ultra Hip-Hop group ever even existing, so we may be the only ones who have these two songs! They've got a great groove, and are very cool to have. One is a Hip-Hop take off on "The Jeffersons" theme, and the other deals with a father's advice to his son: "If you're gonna smoke blunts in the kitchen, don't cook cocaine on the grill"! Sounds like good advice. Suggested Donation: $20

Artist: RICHMOND Album: RAISE YOUR HEADS TO THE WIND (Single) Recording: Vinyl 45 rpm Single to CD transfer Media: 1 CDR @ 7 min. Tracks (2): Raise Your Heads To The Wind; All I Really Need (the following "Note" is taken from Piper Records' description of the album from which these songs appear):
Note: This melancholy English Folk Rock masterpiece is a class act! The duo Steve Hall and Chas Seward created their legendary "Frightened" LP back in 1973, blending sweet melody & harmony with nostalgic English folk rock. The atmosphere is also profound with truly good English anxiety. The beat is rich with sweetness, layered in a delicate sheath of dignity. As for the sound, it retains an aloof and impressionable existence. Fans of Colin Hare, Ian Matthews and Emitt Rhodes will find this a necessary listen! This is an English Folk Rock Masterpiece of high caliber. These are the two standout tracks from that LP taken from a 45 rpm vinyl record. Suggested Donation: $20

Artist: SOUTHSIDE JOHNNY & THE JUKES Album: TRASH IT UP! Recording: Vinyl LP to CD transfer Media: 1 CDR @ 39 min. Tracks (9): Trash It Up; Can’t Stop Thinking Of You; Get Your Body On The Job; My Baby’s Touch; The Beast Within; Ain’t Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore; Slow Burn; Ms. Park Avenue; Bedtime
Note: Nearly 25 years after its release, this Southside Johnny album STILL hasn’t been released on CD due to the bureaucratic greed of music industry executives and others. We couldn’t wait any longer, so we released it ourselves (as we always do) now available for all to enjoy. One of Southside’s finest albums, it’s hard to imagine that we were forced to wait until now to play it on a CD player. Of course, it has been processed with noise reduction, too. This is a great gift for such a small donation! Suggested Donation: $50
Artist: STEINSKI AND MASS MEDIA Album: IT’S UP TO YOU Recording: Vinyl LP to CD transfer Media: 1 CDR @ 15 min. Tracks (3): It’s Up To You (The War Mix); It’s Up To You (The Television Mix); It’s Up To You (Instrumental)
Note: What a great tune from Steinski and Mass Media, but unfortunately, it’s only available, IF you can find it, on a 12" LP, from which this CD was made. Like our other vinyl transfers, it’s free of pops, clicks, ticks, and other distortions that have not been written into the music. So while nobody (except those with access to the original master tapes) has ever heard this song to crisp and clean, we can’t imagine this disc sounding any better than it does right here. Even if you found this LP, it would probably cost you more than the suggested donation of this digital transfer! Suggested Donation: $25

But we have removed all the loud needle-drops, pops, clicks, ticks, and other extraneous noises and distortions, resulting in this magnificent piece of stellar music. While not for everyone, this disc is highly recommended for those who enjoy excursions into true psychedelia. Features the rare and good-time opening track, the trippy L.S.D. Note: There's a 5 Vinyl LP Box Set of 12" records that bears the same name, but that's where the similarity ends between this CD set and that LP Box. Here, each song was chosen to provide a wide range of material from the Motown label, without too much from any one particular artist. Another limitation of that 5 LP vinyl box was that every song except two were produced by the Jobette Music Co., and our set doesn't give any regard to who produced the songs, thereby providing a much wider appeal. That's what makes our CDs so superior to others. We just give you the hits without the mandatory filler that always accompanies compilations such as this. Also, each song is the original LONG VERSION, not the edited down for AM radio play ones. And there's no dialogue to take up valuable music time on the discs, which appeared on the original vinyl records, too. How many times can you hear the same dialogue over and over at the beginning of each song before you get sick of listening to the them anymore? Once was enough for us. It seems record labels will dream up any method of reducing the amount of music they give you for your money. This set will satisfy anyone with a desire to have a Motown record set. Of course it could be much longer, but then a lot of artists would have multiple selections. This set is a "sampler" of Motown hits, and can't possibly contain ALL the hits that ever appeared on Motown's label! Suggested Donation: $50
